(child clutching toy dragon pushing at locked door) I want to go outside

no its not time to go out yet

but i have to put this dragon in the dungeon

find another dungeon

no!

make one

no! *struggles to open door, looks at me horrified* somebody has locked it! i need to put the dragon in the dungeon! Now!

Maybe the dragon is innocent and should be set free

no he is bad he needs to go to jail. one two three push!! *Pushes back against door*

I keep reading in articles at the moment that autistic children have a lack of imagination. I disagree. Trust me the dragon and dungeon were not real.
