my mum says she is getting to know east surrey hospital really well. Recently she has been there quite a lot either for me or for my dad.

Yesterday morning my dad went blind in his right eye. The doctor couldn't see what was wrong because there was too much blood so he has to go for a scan. They think the retina may have detached. He can't see much through his left eye either because he has a cataract forming. He keeps making jokes about it but i am worried about he is really feeling. Lately he has been dwelling on his age and talks about dying (but then i can never tell if he is being serious or not). It must be scary though.
