Masquerade! Paper faces on parade! Masquerade! Hide your face, so the world will never find you! Another embarrassing moment was when i slipped on someones spilt drink on the dance floor and fell flat on my face!Ended up with a black stain down my tights and a very bruised arm from to trying to stop my fall. Lots of strangers gathered around to ask me if I was okay, which was very nice of them but really was not a moment in my life when i was wanting a lot of attention. posted by Brianne

The Ultimate Gooseberry
last night i went to a masquerade ball. This morning i woke up on G's bedroom floor. I was somewhat surprised by this and then rather embarrased. Now why should this be the case when i had before the ball arranged to sleep at G's to save me the trouble of making my way home after a few drinks? Well you see G had pulled and instead of getting a taxi home i slept in the room next to the bed in which she and her conquest lay. In my defense i was very drunk last night (i had the matching hangover this morning) and was not aware of much (apparently a cd was dropped on my face in the night and i did not even stir) and all i was thinking about was finding somewhere to sleep. Why did she not put me in a taxi? I can't imagine the gentleman was too pleased to have an extra in the room. hee hee. posted by Brianne

on my way to a date with mr darcy, driving through the dark and torrential rain when my the windscreen wiper on the driver's side decides to snap off! I had to stand in the rain (did I mention it was torrential?) for what seemed like an eternity wrestling with the offensive thing in an attempt to get it fixed in place (however temporarily). I triumphed (it's amazing what you can do with a bit of black tape) but I was looking slightly worse for wear; of course lizzy always looks a bit ruffled from her outdoor pursuits and mr darcy seemed to always find that an attractive quality...perhaps i should stand out in the rain more often. posted by Brianne

"if you were brought here loose in a bag to be articulated, i could name your smallest bones blindfolded and sort them all in a manner that would surprise and charm you."
It's just a simple line I can still hear it all of the time If I can just hold on tonight I know that nothing Nothing survives Nothing survives I think i'm turned around I'm looking up Not looking down And when i'm standing still Watching you run Watching you fall Fall into me
Am I making something worthwhile out of this place Am I making something worthwhile out of this chase I am displaced I am displaced
And she's my friend of all friends She's still here when everyone's gone She doesn't have to say a thing We'll just keep laughing all night long All night long
Am I making something worthwhile out of this place Am I making something worthwhile out of this chase I am displaced I am displaced
It's just a simple line I can still hear it all of the time If i can just hold on tonight I know that no one No one survives No one survives.
